Taste of Chamblee - August 2010

On August 21, 2010, Assistance League of Atlanta sponsored a booth at the Taste of Chamblee festival. In spite of the heat, members were busy telling attendees how we provide clothing, goods and other aid to more than 45,000 children and adults in need.

Members also handed out over 400 coupons good for 50% off one item at Attic Treasures Thrift Shop, the organization's major source of funding. Located on Antique Row in Chamblee, this nonprofit thrift shop offers good quality, gently used clothing for the whole family, household items, books, jewelry, antiques, collectibles, and small furniture items at affordable prices.
